The NK Industries Bottle Checkweigher Machine operates on a dynamic weighing principle. Here's a step-by-step breakdown:

  1. Infeed Section: Bottles are fed onto the checkweigher's conveyor belt, often with a spacing mechanism to ensure individual weighing.  
  2. Weighing Section: As each bottle passes over the integrated high-precision load cell, its weight is accurately measured in real-time. This happens dynamically, without stopping the production line.
  3. Control & Display Unit: The measured weight is instantly processed by the machine's controller. This value is compared against pre-set target weight parameters (acceptable upper and lower limits). The HMI (Human Machine Interface), typically a touchscreen display, shows the current weight, operational status, and statistical data.
  4. Rejection System (Optional ): If a bottle's weight falls outside the defined tolerance (either underweight or overweight), a rejection mechanism is activated. Common rejection systems include:
    • Air Jet Rejector: Uses a puff of air to blow the non-compliant bottle off the line.
